Metro Line 9, 40 km.

Designing of project and carrying out of work on telecommunications system, traction substations, receiving substations and energy distribution systems, for Line 9 of the Barcelona Metro system, comprising:

• 2 receiving substations, 220kv/30kv of voltage and 2 x 35mva + 2 x 50mva of power.
• 21 traction substations.
• 51 transformer stations (for supplying energy to the stations).
• 2 transformer stations for workshops and wagon sheds.
• 50 transformer stations for interstations, supplying the ventilation system equipment at the interstations.
• 3 medium voltage (30kv) rings for energy distribution at each type of station:
  • SET ring for electricity supply at all traction substations.
  • Double CTE ring to supply the transformer stations.
  • CTI ring to supply the transformer stations at the interstations.

A more advanced telecommunications system that offers users a better and broader service.

This system includes: core fibre optics, transport and digital radio networks, feeding different subsystems such as the IP data network, video surveillance, telephony, intercom system, remote control, public address system, passenger information system and timing system, all of which are supervised and monitored by a powerful management system.
