Updating of the remote control system and installations for the Barcelona Metropolitan Area water supply system.

From the main control centre, located in the town of Sant Joan Despí, and the secondary centres located at the potable water treatment stations (ETAP) of Cardedeu and Abrera, the almost 150 remote stations situated in tanks and pumping stations are supervised and controlled by means of a VSAT satellite communications system.

Abantia has set up, in successive phases, most of the remote stations, as well as their electrical installations, instruments and civil works.
