As part of a temporary joint venture, on 18 November 2008 Abantia put over 15,000 photovoltaic panels in commission at the ATLL (Aigües Ter Llobregat) plant in Abrera (Barcelona).

Thanks to this plant, which cost 13.5 million euros, 1,060 Tn of CO2 emissions will be prevented from entering the atmosphere, as this project forms part of ATLL's Sustainability Plan, which will make the prevention of 15,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions possible by 2012.
