Assembly of stainless steel pipes in prefabricated modules at the Dragados Off Shore installations in Puerto Real, and ongoing assembly on a floating concrete raft, at the old Crinavis shipyards in Algeciras.

After installing the modules on the raft in Algeciras, the entire plant, which is to be used for the reception and regasification of LNG, will be transferred to the North Adriatic, near Venice, to connect to the Italian distribution network.

  Due to the requirement of reducing the size of the installation to the minimum, for both sea transportation and its definitive installation, the concentration of pipes and equipment represented a huge challenge in terms of assembly, as the work of 250 men had to be organised within a very tight schedule.
