Workshop manufacture and assembly of 624 heliostats for a solar energy plant in the municipality of Sanlúcar La Mayor (Seville).

The plant produces 23,000,000 Kw/h of electricity a year, sufficient energy to supply a town of 10,000 inhabitants.

Heliostats are mobile mirrors which reflect and concentrate the solar radiation they receive on a receptor located on a 100 m high tower.

Each heliostat has a surface area of 124.5 m2, and comprises a metal support structure, bearing 28 mirrors measuring 2,220 x 1,355 mm per heliostat.
